Product Improvements Recap: Q3

This quarter was a big one for Realtracs. We welcomed River Counties Association of REALTORS® (RCAR) and Great Smoky Mountains Association of REALTORS® (GSMAR)to Realtracs as their MLS technology provider, while continuing to improve the experience for all of our subscribers.

That growth helped shape several updates, from more flexible rental and showing options to better client activity, office settings, listing distribution, and more.

Here’s what landed.

Built for More Markets

Rental policies are now more flexible for residential and multifamily listings. Agents can identify whether a property allows long-term rentals, short-term rentals, short-term occupancy only, or no renting. When rentals are allowed, Gross Annual Income can also be added.

These new rental options are searchable and appear on the listing Full Report.

We also added a dedicated Lockbox field with options for SentriLock, Supra, and Combo to support the different systems used across our growing markets.

Realtracs Showings Opens the Door

Realtracs Showings supports agents working across different MLS platforms.

In participating markets, listing agents can enable booking access for real estate professionals who are not Realtracs subscribers. A private booking link allows them to verify their identity and schedule a showing directly through Realtracs.

Once verified, they can also claim a free Realtracs Showings account for easier access in the future.

For imported listings, users can also update the default Showing Phone Number directly through Quick Edit.

More Clarity Around Marketing Reach

Listing distribution choices are easier to understand with updated Marketing Reach labels.

Syndicated is now Public Distribution, and Office Exclusive is now Company Exclusive. These are labeling changes only. The way listings are distributed has not changed.

We also added Realtracs Exclusive and Company Exclusive badges throughout the platform, making those listings easier to recognize.

Office Settings, Easier to Find, All in One Place

All users can access Office Settings from the Me menu. Brokers can make changes, while others in the office have read-only access.
The page brings together:

  • Office Profile information
  • A list of Company Offices
  • Office Preferences

Including listing cancellation settings and the office’s preferred transaction management platform.

The Company Offices view also helps show how broadly Company Exclusive listings are shared within an organization.

Dotloop Comes to Realtracs

Brokers can now choose dotloop or TransactionDesk as their office’s preferred transaction management platform from Office Settings.

Once selected, the preferred platform appears in key areas throughout Realtracs, including Dashboard Quick Links, My Listings, and Listing Reports.

From a Listing Report, agents using dotloop can also create a new loop using basic MLS information from the listing, reducing duplicate entry.

Engage Makes It Easier to Stay Connected

We continued building on Engage with new ways to invite contacts and better understand what they’re looking at.

Agents can now quickly see which contacts haven’t created a Realtracs account and invite them directly from the Contacts page.

The Engage Dashboard shows every listing a contact viewed, giving agents more context around what has caught their attention.

More activity, more context, and better signals for when it might be time to follow up.

A Smoother Search Experience for Clients

Clients can now set a default saved search, so their preferred criteria runs automatically when they return to Listing Search.

On mobile, a new action button also makes common tasks like editing criteria and saving a search easier to find.

When a client sets or updates their saved search, that activity appears in Engage, giving agents another useful signal for when to reconnect.

Listing Alerts and Search Come Together

Listing Alerts and Search may look similar to clients, but they have traditionally been separate experiences.

Clients can now see which Listing Alert they’re viewing; use Search This Area to explore additional properties and easily return to their original alert.

They can also load Listing Alerts directly from Listing Search instead of returning to the Dashboard.

Notification settings got an update too. Clients can view their Listing Alerts in one place, see how often they receive updates, adjust delivery settings, and remove searches they no longer need.

Together, these changes create a more connected experience with fewer unnecessary steps.

A More Complete View in Office Analytics

Office Analytics now includes all listings contributed to Realtracs with a Realtracs MLS number, regardless of where the listing originated.

That means a more complete view of agent and office production.

That’s a Wrap

Q3 was about building for what’s next while continuing to improve the everyday Realtracs experience.

We welcomed two new associations and introduced improvements across Showings, Engage, Office Settings, Marketing Reach, and more.

As Realtracs continues to grow, we’re focused on making sure the platform grows with you, with the tools, data, and MLS expertise built to move you forward.
